The historic headquarters of the Automobile Club of Italy (ACI) on Via Marsala in Rome was illuminated overnight in the colors of the Italian flag and gold to celebrate Andrea Kimi Antonelli’s Formula 1 world championship title. The initiative will be repeated throughout the week.

The Via Marsala façade displays green, white and red, while the building on Via Solferino is lit in gold, representing the Italian driver’s victory.

ACI president Geronimo La Russa, who is in Mexico to show the national motorsport federation’s support for Antonelli, described the lighting as a tangible gesture of thanks. He said the achievement was historic and a source of pride not only for Formula 1 fans but for Italians more broadly.

La Russa also highlighted Antonelli’s early development through the ACI Sport federal school and the ACI Team Italia national program. He said the driver now represents Italy internationally and is being applauded by fans around the world.
