Angelo Agus has been appointed head of delegation for Italy’s Under-15 national team, which is coached by Enrico Battisti. The appointment was made by FIGC commissioner Giovanni Malagò.
Malagò said the federation wants to strengthen the development pathway for its youth teams. He pointed to Agus’s more than 30 years of experience, describing his career as reflecting the values of merit, commitment and attention to young players that the FIGC seeks to promote.
Born in the province of Cagliari, Agus built his career across coaching, training and management, mainly in Sardinia. He began in amateur football and youth development before taking on responsibilities at provincial, regional and national levels.
Italy’s Under-15 team finished 12th among 189 national teams at the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival, held in Azerbaijan in late October.
