Ben Shelton will join Carlos Alcaraz in the men’s draw at Queen’s in 2027 after signing up for the ATP 500 tournament in London. Alcaraz’s participation had already been confirmed as part of his early schedule for next season.

Shelton opted to play the Halle Open instead of Queen’s in 2026, reaching the quarterfinals. He has won one match in three previous appearances at the London event: he beat Lorenzo Sonego in 2023 before losing to Lorenzo Musetti. He was eliminated in the first round in both 2024 and 2025.

The American has had mixed results on grass, including a single Wimbledon quarterfinal in four appearances. This season, however, he claimed his first title on the surface at the Stuttgart Open, beating Taylor Fritz, Jiri Lehecka and Marcos Giron on the way to the ATP 250 trophy.

Shelton is set to work with Juan Carlos Ferrero as his new coach in 2027. Alcaraz, meanwhile, is also scheduled to play the Rotterdam Open in February. He last won that ATP 500 event in 2025 and is due back at Queen’s after missing the 2026 tournament through injury.

The Queen’s women’s draw has also announced Linda Noskova, who is set to compete at the WTA 500 event for the first time. The women’s tournament returned in 2025 after a 53-year absence, with Tatjana Maria and Donna Vekic winning the first two editions since its return.
