Carlos Alcaraz heads into the Paris Masters with confidence after back-to-back titles at the Japan Open and Vienna Open. The Spaniard says he feels mentally and physically fresh as he targets his first victory at the tournament and, later in the season, his first ATP Finals crown.
Speaking at the Paris Masters, Alcaraz said he was motivated and prepared to handle challenges during his matches. He added that he hoped to play well and progress as far as possible in the tournament.
A first-round bye means Alcaraz will open against either Alex Michelsen or Jiri Lehecka. He is scheduled to play on Wednesday, November 4, and would need five wins in five days to lift the trophy.
His draw also includes potential tests against Arthur Fils, Taylor Fritz and Ugo Humbert. Alcaraz has reached the Paris quarter-finals once in five appearances, winning five matches overall. The tournament has been one of his less successful Masters events, and he will be seeking to improve that record in 2026.
