Cesc Fabregas expressed his sympathy to the family of Jesus de Miguel following the news of his death, sending a message to De Miguel’s parents, club and teammates in comments to Sky Sport.
“Football is such a beautiful sport, so it is very hard when something like this happens,” Fabregas said. He added that, as a parent himself, he felt close to De Miguel’s parents and described the sudden end of life as frightening.
Fabregas called the loss a severe blow and said he wanted to send the family, the club and De Miguel’s teammates a warm embrace.
