Corinthians announced on Tuesday that Emily Lima has been dismissed as head coach of the club’s women’s team, following its defeat to Cruzeiro in the Copa Libertadores final.

The final ended 4-4 after Corinthians let a 3-0 lead slip during regulation time. Cruzeiro went on to win the penalty shootout on Saturday.

The club said assistant coach Jaqueline Ucella and fitness coach Liliane Cruz would also leave. Lima had been in charge of Corinthians since February and previously worked with the women’s national teams of Brazil, Peru and Ecuador.
