Lewis Hamilton said Ferrari lost a potential victory because of the incident involving teammate Charles Leclerc at the start of the race.

Speaking from the podium after expressing his frustration during the Grand Prix, Hamilton said the team had discussed beforehand how it would respond if such a situation occurred. He added that Ferrari now needed to determine what could be improved behind the scenes and that he would have a serious conversation with Leclerc.

Despite the disappointment, Hamilton praised Ferrari’s overall work, particularly given the difficulties with the engine. He said he hoped the team would have a stronger power unit next year and expressed confidence that Ferrari could provide a more competitive car for the 2027 season.
