Harry Wilson has been recalled to the Wales squad for the closing Nations League matches against Norway and Portugal, with goalkeeper Joe Duncan earning his first senior call-up. Wilson has not played for Wales since March because of injuries, while Leeds United centre-back Joe Rodon also returns after a hamstring problem sustained in August.
Cardiff City midfielder Rubin Colwill is back in the squad. Jordan James is unavailable after picking up an injury while playing for Wolves against Cardiff last Saturday.
Duncan is the squad’s only new addition. The 20-year-old is on loan at National League side Southend United from Bristol City and has previously represented Wales at Under-21 level. Born in Bristol, he qualifies for Wales through his maternal grandfather, who is from Cardiff. He replaces Everton reserve goalkeeper Tom King.
Wales travel to Oslo to face Norway on 14 November before hosting Portugal in Cardiff on 17 November. Craig Bellamy’s side are third in Group A4, with their only win from four matches coming against Norway in Cardiff last month. They can still finish second, third or fourth.
A top-two finish would send Wales to the Nations League quarter-finals in March 2027. Third place would bring a relegation play-off against a League B side, while finishing bottom could mean either a play-off or direct relegation, depending on the rankings across the League A groups.
