Manchester United came from two goals down to beat Roma 3-2 at Old Trafford, while Inter defeated Feyenoord 3-0 away. Both matches were part of the fourth round of the Champions League league phase.
Roma took the lead in the 11th minute when Matías Soulé finished after Rodrigo Mora’s pass. Donyell Malen made it 2-0 from the penalty spot seven minutes later, leaving United with a substantial deficit at half-time.
Bruno Fernandes pulled one back for United in the 58th minute after his first penalty was saved by Roma goalkeeper Vasquez. The referee ordered a retake because Bryan Cristante had entered the area before the kick; Fernandes converted the second attempt.
Cunha levelled in the 83rd minute after a cross caused confusion in the Roma defence. Three minutes later, he completed the turnaround with a powerful finish from Lacey’s pass, giving United a 3-2 victory.
Inter built their lead at Feyenoord with goals from Yann Bisseck in the eighth minute and Pio Esposito in the 34th. Piotr Zielinski added a third in the 54th minute, collecting Nicolò Barella’s pass before scoring with a left-footed shot to seal a 3-0 win.
