Fiorentina will visit Sassuolo in Serie A at 18:30, with the Viola looking to improve their position after collecting five points and sitting in the relegation zone.
Coach Paolo Vanoli said the match was not a decisive turning point, but stressed its importance and difficulty. He added that Fiorentina needed a spark as they continued to develop.
Vanoli said the team deserved more points but acknowledged that improvements were needed in both attack and defence. Fiorentina will be without Atta and Ranieri, while Pongracic is expected to return after the international break.
