Jannik Sinner congratulated Kimi Antonelli on winning the Formula 1 world championship in a video posted on social media. “Congratulations Kimi, for what you managed to achieve. Congratulations on your world title,” the tennis player said.

Valentino Rossi also praised Antonelli during an appearance on Sky Sport, describing the achievement as deeply moving. Rossi said he had followed Antonelli since his karting days and highlighted the young driver’s ability to perform under pressure and make a significant difference alongside his teammate.

Rossi added that Antonelli could become one of the strongest drivers in Formula 1 history. He also explained that the driver’s first name, which recalls former world champion Kimi Räikkönen, initially caught his attention and encouraged him to follow his career.

Max Verstappen, speaking after winning the Mexican Grand Prix, said he was proud of Antonelli and emphasized how impressive it was to win the title at such a young age. Verstappen also reflected on his own race, saying the start and first lap were decisive and that he had to work hard to keep Lewis Hamilton behind him at the finish.

MotoGP rider Marco Bezzecchi sent Antonelli a message of affection, saying he was looking forward to embracing his friend. Bezzecchi praised the new champion for handling the pressure with the calmness of a true champion and recalled his achievement at Monza.
