Inter showed what coach Cristian Chivu called their “best version” in their Champions League victory over Feyenoord, a result he said would strengthen the team’s confidence and awareness of its progress.
Speaking to Sky Sport after the match, Chivu described it as an important game at a difficult venue. He said Inter had understood certain things and managed to put them into practice on the pitch.
The coach added that the team regularly reviews performances and tries to correct mistakes, though those efforts do not always succeed equally well. In his view, consistency is what brings results, confidence and self-esteem.
Chivu said the victory gave Inter a lot in terms of awareness and their ongoing development. He also noted that football can take unexpected turns, making it important to accept setbacks and respond.
